With data on the roof and electricity consumption, Elevi provides initial information for planning solar on commercial roofs. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to do this.
Berlin, 15.01.2025 - Planning photovoltaic systems on commercial roofs, immediately and 24 hours a day: Elevion Green, the B2B platform for renewable energies of the Elevion Group, has developed the AI-based consulting tool Elevi for this purpose. At www.eleviongreen.de/ai, it now offers the opportunity to receive personalized information on costs, energy savings and legal requirements in chat format.
A low-threshold offer for PV planning on commercial roofs is needed: in Germany, only around 10 percent of PV systems have been used to generate energy to date, according to an analysis by corporate real estate specialist Garbe Industrial Real Estate.
“Our AI answers the most important questions about photovoltaics precisely, comprehensibly and around the clock,” explains Florian Resatsch, CEO of Elevion Green. “This makes it easier for companies looking for PV solutions for their commercial roofs to take the first step towards a climate-friendly and economically viable energy supply.”
Elevi is an energy expert - and works intuitively in question-and-answer mode
The Elevi AI tool combines state-of-the-art language models (LLMs) with direct access to Elevion Green's internal knowledge database. In technical terms, this is referred to as a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture. Elevi not only answers general questions about photovoltaics and PV systems, but also addresses company and industry-specific concerns.
The central functions of Elevi include
“The AI is designed to provide direct added value to the companies making inquiries, but also to make the work of our sales team easier. Our specialists can then use the information entered to develop specific offers and solutions,” says Resatsch.
Pioneer in the Europe-wide Elevion Group
Elevi is the first AI solution developed in-house by the digital pioneers at Elevion Green and therefore also within the pan-European Elevion Group. The solution has been implemented in the existing Azure cloud infrastructure, making it easy to extend to other areas of the Elevion Group - even beyond the solar industry.
“Our AI technology will not only revolutionize photovoltaic planning, but will also provide valuable impetus in other areas of our Group in the long term,” emphasizes Elevion Group CEO Jaroslav Macek. “Our entrepreneurial and ecological goal with Elevi is to make energy awareness intuitively plannable in the commercial sector too.”
