Elevion Group acquires Gespa Gmbh from Rüsselsheim, Germany

Elevion Group has acquired Gespa GmbH in Germany as of 28 March 2023, expanding portfolio of its Green Energy segment. The system provider, based in the Rhine-Main region, has around 30 employees and offers rooftop solar systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure for customers in commerce, industry, municipalities and private households. Gespa takes care of the financing as well as the entire project development and, after installation, the operational management and maintenance of the technical systems.

Photovoltaics as a driver of decarbonisation

By integrating Gespa GmbH, Elevion Group is further expanding its position in Germany as a partner for energy efficiency and decarbonisation solutions for buildings and industry. "PV on the roof is one of the success factors for decarbonisation in buildings. Solar rooftop obligations already exist regionally and are expected to become nationwide in the future," says Ingo Alphéus, Elevion Group's Country Manager for Germany and Austria. "That is why we want to offer our customers our own solutions in this area as well. The Gespa team has years of experience on the roof, from single-family homes to factories."  With Belectric GmbH, the Elevion Group already has a provider for large ground-mounted systems that together with other companies providing roof top PV solutions, making Elevion Group one of the largest solar power plant providers in Europe.
