By acquiring 43 energy generation sites from BRASST EDL, Elevion Group is strategically expanding its German heat contracting business. The integration of this approximately 23 MW portfolio strengthens the company’s market position and unlocks new potential for efficient, low-carbon energy solutions.

With this acquisition, Elevion Group is expanding its portfolio by adding 43 heat contracting sites with an installed capacity of approximately 23 MW, further strengthening its heat contracting operations in the German market.

Elevion Group, a European provider of decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and decentralised energy supply solutions, has acquired a heat contracting portfolio from BRASST Energiedienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH through its German subsidiary, Elevion Energy GmbH.

The acquired portfolio comprises 43 energy generation sites across Germany, featuring around 120 heat generation units and the associated infrastructure. Combined, the facilities have an installed capacity of approximately 22.6 MW thermal and 0.7 MW electrical. The transaction also encompasses long-term customer contracts for the supply of heat, electricity, and cooling, along with the transfer of four employees.

The portfolio serves clients from the residential, commercial, and public sectors. The sites are predominantly located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hamburg, Berlin-Brandenburg, Saxony, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

"Strategically, this acquisition is a crucial step in the ongoing expansion of our heat contracting business in Germany. The portfolio is an ideal complement to our existing operations and creates a robust foundation for future growth. As a result, we can offer our customers increasingly efficient and lower-carbon energy solutions," stated Holger Suschowk, Managing Director of Elevion Energy.

The portfolio incorporates a variety of technologies, including natural gas and biomethane-powered combined heat and power (CHP) plants, boiler systems, heat pumps, and heat transfer stations. Selected facilities offer further potential for modernisation and the implementation of targeted decarbonisation measures.
